Rum Berry Drink

Today’s drink:  Rum Berry Drink

We are full force into the start of the holiday season around here.  Today is Halloween, so the past few days leading up to our first Fall holiday of the year were jam-packed.  My brother and I [and our little families] invaded my mom’s house to decorate pumpkins on Sunday.  She was offering dinner, dessert and a no-mess pumpkin solution, so we made haste!  Since she was in full charge of dinner, I rummaged through her freezer and alcohol stash to make her [us] a drink.  Spoiler alert:  she only has rum…in bulk.

I found some frozen strawberries, ice, Berry Sunsplash frozen drink concentrate, and a half-gallon of light rum.  I could make that work.  I blended everything up in the Ninja and had them finished in no time.  Then we made another pitcher!  The great thing about this drink:  You could easily switch it up by using different berries or another flavor of drink concentrate.  Get creative and you’ll be relaxed before you know it.
